After the miserable failure of the millennium dome, and in spite of Englands world cup qualifying success, it seems (thank goodness) that a £400m price tag is too high for Tony Blair and the project will be scrapped.

This is common sense to all of us who have watched these PFI schemes fall flat on their faces time after time.
