Blair attacks Scottish MEP
The Government is facing a head-on collision with Labour Euro-MPs after
four left-winger MEPs were suspended yesterday.
Mr Alex Falconer, veteran left-wing Euro-MP for Mid Scotland and Fife was
one of the four. He was suspended for defying the code of practice which
demands party loyalty. Mr Falconer has protested his innocence and said he
will appeal.
Party loyalty, what the hell is this? Mr Falconer is responsible to the electorate
NOT to some Blairist right wing quango in London.
