Tony Blair, that man of razor sharp intelligence and outstanding guile, has finally realised that a strong single European currency is an anchor in the storm that can stand against the whims, fancies (and sneezes) of the federal reserve under Greenspan in the USA, and against the unrest in SE Asia.
