Air traffic control nearing disaster levels

A report issued this week highlights that air traffic over the "UK" is growing by more than 5% a year and at at peak times there are up to 13,000 people in aircraft above London.

This is WESTMINSTERS fault.

They want to keep all the engineering and freight trade for south east England, and do not want to give some of this business to other big airports, including those in Scotland that are 1 hour closer to Europe for trans-Atlantic air traffic.

here is the history of how Scotland has been excluded from the air economy by London

And of course even though air traffic control in Scottish airspace is a matter devolved to the Scottish (NON) parliament, London/Blair vetoed this too! See [1] and [2]
