Scotlands universities going bust
The Sunday Times reported that Scotlands universities are now so far in the red they are
having to beg alumni for cash to stay open. The universities say that although London
controlled spending on Scotlands univeristies has risen at 2% a year for several years, the
costs of expanding and maintaining courses and infrastructure has risen at over 4% a year.
Unless something is done by the gutless London controlled Labour puppets in the Scottish executive, we'll see departments closing and Scotland losing its ability to produce the world class graduates it is famous for.
