Disk drive company suffering
A world leader in the manufacture of type III PCMCIA (credit card) disk
drives for laptop and notebook computers is facing serious trouble.
Calluna, based in Glenrothes, has just launched a 1Gigabyte drive, that
is in many ways superior to similar offerings from IBM.
The company is technologically advanced and yet is receiving little to no support
from either the Scottish office nor Labour - who claim to be the guardians
of hi-tech investment in Scotland.
