The ongoing ridiculous war that sees fat, rich Republican American banana plantation owners bullying the WTO to press the EU to accept more of their fruit goes on.

The result is disaster for many small Scottish industries including Cashmere clothing.

The EU should just remind the US how MUCH they depend on EU trade to service their balance of payments and huge national debt, then tell the US to back off or face serious consequences. The WTO is after all a play ground for US sponsored and salaried lobbyists.
