The United States government is in the pocket of the wireless companies, its cities and countryside are littered with all kinds of ugly and more than likely carcinogenic microwave towers that power cell phones.

The Highlands and Islands council is correct to say it wants more careful siting of these eyesores, but as is already clear from masses of independent research, electromagnetic radiation from these masts causes genetic damage and numerous others serious health problems. The Scottish government should simply ban the erection of these facilities ANYWHERE within 500metres (1500') of any place people live or work, and make country placement ones appear incognito.
