Labour sends mixed hi-tech signals
Scottish Industry Minister Brian Wilson yesterday opened a 13 million
pound ($20,000,000) training centre which he hopes will help boost the number
of skilled electronics workers in Scotlands Silicon Glen.
The Scottish Advanced Manufacturing Centre at Livingston, West Lothian graduate about 5000 students per annum.
Mr Wilson said "For the electronics industry to maintain its current level of growth we have got to train people... This new centre will maintain the momentum and continue the competitiveness of the industry."
Balderdash
We have labour saying it needs more electronics graduates, and yet Labour will
use the DTI to make sure prime contracts that London 'fancies' do not
ever come to Scotland!!!
Trust Labour? Would you trust a white shark with 50lbs of liver?
