A US based (once French) company,Lafarge Aggregates ,is trying to reopen and GREATLY expand a quarry that would tear the coastal heart out of Harris, one of Scotlands most beautiful unspoiled Western Isles.
The company plans to destroy Lingerbay in Harris.
