Labour council in Edinburgh gets cold feet over tolls
The lunatic Labour council that runs Scotlands capital wanted to introduce
$3 (2 pound) tolls on the city' most congested roads to fund new transport initiatives and supposedly cut pollution.
However, this would discriminate against those on lower or fixed incomes.
Now they have decided to put it to a vote of Edinburgh and surrounding districts to see what the public really wants.
A brief spec of sanity?
