Irish see Scots economy as a threat?
The governor of the central Irish (Eire) Bank has
said he doesn't believe a Scottish economy
with low corporation tax rates would be viable.
I guess he would have to say that as Scotland
is now the 7th richest nation on the planet (GDP)
whereas the "UK" is 17th.
A successful Scotland will attract too many companies away
from Ireland. Perhaps the Scottish parliament should look
at closer cooperation with Eire as long as it does not
breach any EU regulations.
Westminster can look on and weep!
