Central heating no good if you cant pay your fuel bills
The Scottish 'parliament' is to spend almost £350m over five years
to install modern fuel efficient central heating in homes of many Senior citizens and
low income families.
This is a good idea as old fashioned bar heaters and storage heaters don't heat
homes in a Scottish winter, but what is the good if your pension is so low
you cant pay your fuel bill?
Scottish Socialist Party MSP Tommy Sheridan, said : "The move is welcome but still represents a
feeble attempt at tackling fuel poverty, because low-income
families and many pensioners will continue to struggle to
pay their fuel bills."
