Scots heart patients dying before they ever reach surgery
The Sunday Times survey revealed that 263 heart patients on National Health Service waiting lists in Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Glasgow have died since 1997, and that the non-collection of regular statistics means the number may be far, far higher.

Given that news headlines last week showed the LABOUR was lying over its promised improvements in health care and shortening of waiting lists this is disturbing news. Up to 250,000 people in England and Wales are on hidden, unpublished government (Wesminster) NHS waiting lists.
