Scottish tax refund heading for a cut
Independent reports make it VERY clear that the Scots pay more into
London than they receive back from the treasury.
Labour and London dispute this, they are so caring they say they
have been subsidising the Scots for years under the Barnett formula
(yes, of course, as if Westminster EVER subsidised any of its colonies).
Now the Scottish Tories have spoken. Dominic Grieve said that he
wanted the Scots tax refund CUT.
So, the Scots will pay ever increasing amounts into London and STILL not
have control of their country, a benign dictatorship a la Westminster.
