petrol-gas price hike will hurt Scots
Labour promised intergrated transportation
Petrol price increases of 20p a gallon (about 42cents per US gallon- almost 30% for US prices)
would severely hurt those people living in remote areas of Scotland and England.
The hikes are to help protect the environment, a noble cause the USA has yet to
embrace, and yet the "UK" Blair government in London is doing nothing to improve
public transport in these areas, indeed it is allowing the independent franchises to
run non profitable services down.
So much for Blairs good life; see his manifesto pledge broken above.
