Labour run councils across Scotland are set to move control of their housing stock to the private sector. In theory only not-for-profit 'community' agents will have control over sitting residents , but here is what will happen.

Rents will rise - dramatically.

Why? These new 'private funding' companies will simply claim their running costs are so high due to the dilapidated condition of much of the housing stock (that at least is true after decades of London led, Labour enforced neglect) that they HAVE to raise rents!

Result. More homeless. More hungry kids.
