The Sunday Times surveyed more than 1,000 children aged 13-16 at schools in England, Scotland and Wales last week, asking nine questions related to national identity.

They rejected the idea of being British and correctly identified Queen Elizabeth the first of the "UK" as being German and not English!

In Wales, 79% of pupils saw themselves as Welsh first; in Scotland 82% said they were Scottish first.

There is hope yet for us all. When the Scots and English go back to their own well deserved nationhood NOTHING WILL CHANGE- except the Scots will have NO say in Englands affairs and the English will have no say in Scottish affairs, and what's bad about that?
