Liddell moved to DTI will affect Scotlands ability to compete
Blair has moved Helen Liddell, that even tempered pro-Scottish (NOT) minister to so that she replaces competitiveness minister Lord Simon at the Department of Trade and Industry.
This is frightening.
Liddell has proved herself to be in Blairs pocket, towing Londons line.
Her behaviour and comments in the run up to the devolution vote and
her mishandling of Scottish teachers proves she does NOT have the best
interests of Scotland at heart. Given the DTI veto over inward investment
Scottish businesses and employment prospects can tread warily.
