No freedom of information for Scotland or England
The Labour party lied about freedom of information in its 1997 manifesto.
The new freedom of information bill will ensure civil servants 'tips' to
government ministers (used to help control Scotland via the so called
Scottish Office) will be kept secret.
In addition, Sir William Macpherson, a respected author of several
bills and papers on 'openness' said that: "A Freedom of Information Act should apply to all
areas of policing, both operational and administrative, subject only to the `substantial harm' test
for withholding disclosure."
This isn't happening, London will keep its dirty little secrets, including
final, conclusive and damming proof that the Scots are subsidising
London to the tune of Billions of pounds a year.
