Lording over us
Hereditary peers, people given vast political power because of who their
parents were, and how wealthy they are is an insult to any democracy.
At least in the USA the rich can buy their seats but have to campaign,
London however, hands these seats out as it has done for centuries for nothing....
Labour promised to scrap these peers and now they will break that
promise, the rich keep their positions of power and continue
to abuse.
