Labour has set up a new web site to let ANYONE stand for nomination to get a seat in the house f Lords. However, candidates are expected to have "an outstanding record of personal success and achievement in their chosen fields; including independence and integrity; commitment to the highest standards in public life and the ability to contribute effectively to the House of Lords".

This is going to include some notable public figures who have wooed Labour no doubt, watch this space for cronism.
