Labour peers fail to support their party
Many of the newly appointed 'life peers' inserted by Tony Blair to boost
Labour's numbers in the House of Lords are failing to turn up and
vote for the Government.
A recent survey shows that more
than half of the 55 Labour peers appointed by the Prime
Minister since the election have missed more than 33% of the votes they
really should have attended...
