Scottish Museum suffers under Labour
The Royal Museum in Edinburgh, like many museums in Scotland AND England
is having to raise its entry fee to almost $12 for a family ticket as it
is receiving insufficient funding from both central and local Labour government.
It seems Labour does not value the contribution that the exhibits make
to the lives of 'locals' and tourists alike who head for the museum to see
much of Scotlands history and culture.
Then again, London marginalizing Scottish culture is nothing new, it has
many historical precedents.
