Scottish councils face reform
It has to be said that many councils in Scotland and England use management
methods that thought tried and tested for decades are now failing to deliver
the services that the local taxpayers expect.
Many of these inefficient councils are Labour run it is true, but there
is no one shining example in the whole of Scotland that can be used as a
template for reform.
Like most things Scottish, cash starvation has helped the councils
become LESS efficient not more, given Labours ALL TIME LOW on public
spending no number of quango committees may be able to resolve these age
old local government problems!
