Air traffic control centre plans scrapped for Scotland?
The 1998 'devolution bill' made Scotland responsible for its own transport initiatives, in theory, but we were given NO CONTROL over air traffic. All the laws and deals set to protect the monopoly at heathrow airport in London were enacted to prevent Scotland from becoming the logical HUB for ALL transatlantic traffic.
Now it seems that a £460m air traffic control centre at Prestwick (Glasgow) will be built in Eire instead!
This is what happens when you are a colony : as Scotland is to England
