NEGOTIATIONS to save Scotland's coalition government have reached a critical stage with Labour insisting it will spend only half the £71m recommended by the Cubie report into student finance.

Why would we want to save a 'government' that does NOT stand up for the Scots, but instead panders to Westminsters every twisted wish?
