Blair seems to have missed the point, the over valued pound and substantial interest rates being set by the Bank of England are ruining the ability of REAL businessmen to create REAL jobs for the unemployed.

No amount of one on one chat, faster form filling and closer tabs on the unemployed is going to change the fact there ARE NOT ENOUGH jobs to go around.

Rather than Blair wasting money on spin campaigns, he needs to help the economy by persuading the BOE to cut interest rates and join the Euro, rather than watch with glee as currency dealers get rich raping it!
