Scotlands capital to get some traffic relief - perhaps!
The Edinburgh New Transport Initiative Company, comprised of business leaders and councillors, has been charged with delivering a £1bn transportation strategy for the city. Unfortunately, as anyone knows who drives in
or around Edinburgh it will be a mammoth task.
300 hundred million pounds to build a glitzy new parliament
building to try and persuade the Scots population they have a government separate from london, rather
than give that cash to help build a link to Edinburgh airport!
Edinburgh, like Glasgow should take transatlantic air traffic, but London has kept all this for Heathrow,
depriving Scotland of the revenue and keeping our infrastructure behind the times. Who wants to
fly into an airport with just a junk 2 lane road link to the capital city via bus!!!
