Travel infrastructure a mess in "UK"

A commission setup by John Prescott in 1999 to look at integrated transport across Scotland and England has reported that the road/rail and air infrastructure is over priced, under funded, a falling to pieces.

Admittedly, this is a consequence of 18 years of Tory neglect under Thatcher and Major, and then CONTINUED neglect under Blairs right wing regime.

Even though Westminster has allocated £180 billion for spending on roads, rail and public transport to cover the next 10 years, the report says this will probably not fix the problem, caused by poor leadership and underfunding.

Scotland will not see much of this cash anyway ....
