Nuclear fuel hazard to return to Scotland?
The Dounreay nuclear processing plant is controlled not by the Scottish parliament
but by the "UK" atomic energy authority, and that by Westminster.
Recent problems led to a halt in the reprocessing cycle but now
London wants the plant reactivated supposedly to recycle some old spent
fast breeder reactor "UK" waste.
However, labour, like the Tories before them see Dounreay a LONG way from London
and a great place to charge MANY overseas customers vast sums of cash to reprocess waste from their overseas reactors and dam the impact on Scotlands environment.
