Glasgow mistakenly leaves managed council umbrella
The City of Glasgow,m with over 1 million inhabitants is Scotlands largest city,
although not the capital. Its council, like so many others, is run by the Labour (London
controlled) party.
It has split frm the association of Scottish councils (COSLA) that up until now has
presented a firm stance on what is best for Scotlands 32 council authorities to
the (London controlled) Scottish office and now also to the (London controlled)
Scottish (Labour) executive.
They said it was because COSLA was ineffective, but by pulling out they have seriously
divided the finances of COSLA leaving it more vunerable than ever to whatever schemes
London has planned for Scottish authorities.
Its divide and conquer, a trick Thatcher played on the "UK's" coal miners.....
