labours new deal for the young just cheap Labour
With unemployment still amongst the highest in Europe, young Scots are
being used as cheap Labour by many employers who get a subsidy from
London to employ them. They then skimp on training and save on National
Insurance contributions.
The princes trust, run by the Prince of Wales has said this new deal has
failed and seems not to offer training or a real chance of a job after the
term is over.
This is Blairs third way, we see now why he was so reluctant to sign up
for the EU social chapter like his Tory friends before him.
