Whilst I agree that we should stop the barbaric sports of fox hunting,dog hunts against deer and the extermination of wild horses for meat - drug testing on animals has saved the lives of millions of people world wide or improved their quality of life.

Simulations would NOT be as effective, regardless of the effort taken as biological systems are so complex.

We could always use convicted murderers , rapists and child molestors for drug testing, but I suppose the same crazy wing of the animal rights groups would object to this also...

The same people dont object to the fact that the wireless companies, with the governments blessing is experimenting on everyone and everything by bathing us in microwave radiation 24 hours a day to support cell phones! Or, do people NOT matter at all?
