The Labour party is to set aside all concepts of 'due process' as the Americans know it and start seizing wages or even jailing people who cannot afford to pay the poll tax, also called the council tax.

Labour lets councils in Scotland and England asses the value of council owned properties according to the size of the home only. Even though that home may be falling to pieces due to neglect caused by the same council - as many homes in Northern England and Scotland are.

These councils, many of them Labour let the homes fall to ruin and still increase the levels of poll tax payable, many families simply cannot afford these extortionate levels of payment.
