The Scottish Trades Union Congress (STUC) has said it will do all it can to block the increasing number of PFI initiatives that are set to become high cost, low success white elephants in Scotland.

One STUC spokesman said "We are concerned by the Executive's (Labour Scottish idiots....) complete attachment to PFI. There is a feeling among a number of key players that we need to flush New Labour over the real issue."
