Liberal democrats throw gauntlet down over fair votes
Labour promised many thing to get the Liberal party to side with it and control the Scottish parliament.
Labour lied, and has bullied legislation through, bludgeoning any attempts by senior Liberal figures to get
more Liberal views into law.
Loony Labour supporters in Scotland are now saying better to reaffirm their Socialist principles (HA HA HA)
at the next election than stay in bed with the Liberals who want democracy brought to the ballot box
via proportional representation across the board in Scotland. This move WOULD BE DEMOCRATIC but most Labour
MSPs and councils would fall to the SNP and Liberals and even the Tories.
One Liberal said "If they (Labour) block the introduction of proportional representation and fair votes, as far as I am concerned, that is the end" (of Liberals sustaining the Labour majority in the Scottish parliament) (Mike Rumbles, Lib Dem MSP for West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine. )
