Saddam to be pushed aside without war?
There have been hints from Moscow that Mr Putin, the Russsian premier, may visit Baghdad in order to persuade Saddam to step aside. Russian officials said yesterday they had no information on this.
This continues whilst the US continues a heavy military buildup surrounding Iraq.
To this point NO evidence of weapons of mass destruction has been found by the UN inspectors, removing ANY UN sanctionable excuse that Bush may have for a US promoted invasion of Iraq without cause.
If there is an attack on Iraq that is NOT sanctioned by the UN, then Scottish tax payers will have blood on their hands as their taxes helped PAY for this military action.
