There are plans to turn the natural deep water anchorage of Scapa Flow off the Scottish Orkney islands into the major stop off point for container ships that have just crossed the Atlantic ocean from North America.

Its a great idea, only a pity there is NO FAST RAIL SERVICE from Northern Scotland to the Channel tunnel.....
