Scotland being sold off wholesale
Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in Scotland or England is being sold off.
Olwyn MacDonald, a councillor for Caol
on the outskirts of Fort William (a town at the foot of Ben Nevis) said: "I am
astounded about this sale. They will be selling the ground beneath our feet soon. This has been done without any discussion with locals. These are our mountains. Are the powers that be just selling Scotland off
to the highest bidder?"
Yes they are - its called asset stripping. Our companies move South, the land
goes to any bidder, our natural resources are plundered and taxed and used
to put expensive murals in South East England and white elephant parliament
buildings in Edinburgh.
