SNP to expose Londons theft of EU money for Scotland
SNP leader Alex Salmond MSP said: "The political
demise of Alun Michael in Wales shows just how
powerful a campaign on European Structural funding
can be. Since 1993 the UK's failure to match-fund
EU money has cost Scotland some £730m or £150
for every man woman and child. "
"In Wales, the Lib Dems and Tories accepted Plaid
Cymru's analysis of European funding which threw
the Labour administration into chaos and disarray.
Exactly the same applies in Scotland."
