SNP would side with but not be a part of NATO
London has for the longest time, reminded the world that it has nuclear weapons,
a side effect of working with American scientists during world war II.
Governments in London have continued to 'help' in big international
efforts for peacekeeping and other reasons.
The SNP would like Scotland to be like Ireland, Sweden and Austria, and stay
outside NATO but make the same valuable contributions these countries make to it.
SNP defence Spokesman Colin Campbell said of Labours George Robertson "George Robertson must answer whether he is writing in similarly insulting terms to
the governments of Sweden, Finland, Austria and Ireland, none of whom are in NATO, but all of whom
make a positive and highly respected contribution to international peacekeeping."
