SNP republicans debate Queens future role
The SNP leadership is nervous after some of its members published a
document called Citizens not Subjects and asked the party
leaders to commit to a referendum that would ask the Scottish
public to remove the (English) Queen Elizabeth as head of (the Scottish) state
at some point in the future.
There seems to be no reason why this should be destructive in debate.
After the Scottish parliament is Established why not bring the
matter up? No one in Scotland every elected or asked for the English
Royal family to dominate Scotland. The deeds of James the 1st and
6th, a man with about as much spine as a jellyfish, ought to be
ignored. That Union of the crowns is as false as the Act of Union
itself.
