SNP gets council member in Southern England
Jim McGinley, a member of the Labour group on Brighton and Hove Council,
yesterday announced his defection from Labour to the SNP.
"After visiting Scotland over the Christmas holiday, I have decided to represent the
Scottish Nationalist Party," he said in a letter to Lord Bassam, the council's Labour
leader.
Whilst this is an anomaly it does highlight the divisions in New labour. They continue to lie and push economic untruths on the Scots to keep them at heel and
scare off moves towards their independence.
A Labour party spokesman said ominously that Mr McGinley "would regret his actions"... Oh no its the Labour thought police......
You had a thought, you deviated from the party line, you must be exterminated...(for all you Doctor Who fans out there)
