Hi Tech drop out in Scotland
After the crushing closure of the motorola plant in Scotland recently many hoped to see an end to the demise of Hi-tech in central Scotland. Unfortunately
the biggest assembler of Cisco components, Solecton, is killing off another
475 jobs across Scotland.
London controlled 'locate in Scotland' are powerless to help or offer any really incentives to keep GOOD companies in house as this recession bites because the purse strings are controlled by London.
An independent Scotland would be able to offer the kind of incentives and
develop the kind of high level corporate relations Ireland has enjoyed.
