Scots want full control over Nations finances
In poll results that must scare the heck out of Tony Blair and the rest of the
Westminster lovers, the Herald newspaper based in Glasgow found that a HUGE majority
of Scots want ALL tax raising powers to be handed over to Scotland and taken away
from Westminster. In addition the SNP have taken a huge leap in the polls promoting this
fiscal autonomy.
The wishy washy liberals "The constitutional convention, endorsed by the LibDems, made it clear that the Scottish Parliament needed a period of stability of about two terms. However, as regional devolution is rolled out across the rest of the UK, there will be scope to look at this issue."
Here's the problem: SCOTLAND IS A COUNTRY NOT A REGION
Seems the Liberals don't understand this. Most Scots dont give a hoot about what happens
in the English regions, only what happens in Scotland. The feeling is mutual also. Its
not hate, its just human nature.
The SNP MUST make very sure that ALL oil and gas revenues are ALSO controlled by the Scottish treasury and not London.
