Blairs untruths over fuel crisis
A director of the Road Haulage Association (RHA),Phil Flanders, noted that
"This is a very serious crisis which is ruining livelihoods.
This is the Government's problem not the oil producers:
75p in every pound spent on fuel goes to the Treasury.
That is the real problem, not what Opec does."
Londons greed has fueled the price squeeze NOT OPEC
Blairs snide retort sounding like a tyrannical Rumanian despot was this ...
"We cannot and we will not alter
Government policy on petrol through blockades and
pickets. That's not the way to make policy in Britain and as
far as I'm concerned it never will be.
It's important to recognise that the reason for the recent
rise in fuel prices is to do with the rise in world oil prices.
The sensible way, the only right way to deal with this
problem, is to put pressure on Opec, it's not to get them
off the hook by caving in to pressure.
Though it's absolutely correct to say that in the first two
years of the Government we did raise the fuel duty, it was
necessary to sort out the economy."
BLAIR - TIME FOR YOU TO GO, YOU DESPOTIC IDIOT.
