SNP debate on TV and Labours lies
The Scottish television network originally had no intention of letting anyone
but Tony (Pro Scottish_English Union, anti-Scotland) Blair air his opinions
on matters that are no longer any of his business on TV.
The Independent Television Commission said differently and the SNP , Liberals
(who foolishly support Labour) and the Tories got air time.
John Swinney (SNP leader) said: "This has been an important exercise in giving us
an opportunity to set out our arguments on the issues
raised in the prime minister's program. But, most importantly, it sets the ground rules for how
the issue has got to be tackled in relation to the
broadcasting coverage in the run-up to the General
Election and that is where we hope lessons are learned
from the fiasco surrounding the arrangements for this
programme."
