Anyone who has ever driven in the United States knows what a damned eyesore their roads are. Billboards 100 by 50 feet advertising all kinds of useless crap abound.

Mortgages, lawyers, web sites, cars .... all stuff we do not need jammed down our throats mar the landscape and why ? MONEY.

Now the Labour party is to allow the same kind of advertising crap to spring up along all Scotland (and Englands) highways, creating the same vile, pushy, tacky mess that is the roadsides of America.

I wonder how many advertising lobbyists PAID FOR THIS IN LONDON.
