Westminster taxes you to death then squanders the cash
The Private Finance Initiative, the plan born of the deluded minds in London
that believe the Americans know better than the Scots or English is showing
how futile, expensive and wasteful it is.
We have lost hundreds of millions of pounds in tax payers cash in the
'millennium dome', and now the use of private sector planners (so called
advisors) has cost £52.7m pounds already in hospital planning.
This is disgraceful. The private sector does a fine job generating profit
but let it do so with its OWN capital and not tax payers cash. The cost of the
new Scottish parliament building is an another example of the PFI's total
uselessness. Private sector sources gouging the deep tax payers pocket.
